My farewell post, the final one for 2011 and the final one before I leave for basic training, is coming later today. As I was going through my room and doing some packing I found a bunch of CD’s from about four or five years ago that I used when I was reformatting my desktop. They’re labeled “Save 001” and “Save 003” among others (oddly Save 002 is missing), because back then I thought burning files to a CD was the most efficient way to save stuff (apparently I had never heard of a flash drive).
So I decided to throw them in and see what I felt was worth saving so many years ago. Save 003 was a bunch of Cubase projects and the barebones outline of a website I was working on - typical stuff. On Save 001 I found a bunch of pictures (which is where I got the picture for this post, creatively titled Bloody Girl), some old stories, and - Bus Driver: Special Edition. That was the only game I had saved on those discs and it must have been damn good if I wanted to keep it. I faintly remember playing it; it was, shockingly, a bus driving simulation where you had to go from terminal to terminal and pick up people while following traffic laws. Past Crate apparently had a wild streak. x.x
